Day 01 ZERMATT Arrive in Switzerland and make your way to Zermatt. This little town spectacularly situated at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn has everything to offer in the way of picturesque surroundings, spectacular skiing and a lively nightlife.It also has a vibrant village centre which is entirely car-free,with only electric taxis and horse drawn sleighs and streets packed with beautiful shops and boutiques.Overnight stay in Zermatt.
Day 02 ZERMATT-MATTERHORN GLACIER PARADISE Today you discover Switzerland’s most famous landmark the Matterhorn.
The Matterhorn Glacier Paradise (3,883 metres above sea level) is the highest sightseeing point in Europe, which is accessible by cableway.
The exciting tour from Zermatt to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise takes about 40o minutes. You’ll find snow 365 days a year & it offers a breathtaking 360 panoramic view of the Swiss, Italian and French Alps with a total of 38 fourthousand- metre peaks. Overnight stay in Zermatt
Day 03INTERLAKEN Make your way to Interlaken via Brig and Spiez. Interlaken, situated between the lakes of Thun and Brienz, is one of the oldest and most popular tourist resorts in Switzerland. Spend your time walking along the Hoheweg with its watch and jewellery boutiques or just marvel at the surrounding beauty of this place. Overnight stay in Interlaken.
Day 04 INTERLAKEN You can spend the day with an optional trip to the Jungfrau or Schilthorn or discover the neighbouring towns like Grindelwald, Iseltwald or Wilderswil. Overnight stay in Interlaken
Day 05 LUCERNE Be ready for the breathtaking view whilst you travel in the GoldenPass line from Interlaken to Lucerne – the city of lights and the gateway to Central Switzerland. Use the time to walk on the most famous and historic Chapel Bridge of Lucerne, visit the Transport Museum and its IMAX theatre and the Lion Monument. You can also optionally visit the beautiful Mt. Titlis with its Rotair. Overnight stay in Lucerne.
Day 06 LUCERNE-MT. PILATUS This morning get set to depart for an excursion to The Dragon Mountain – Pilatus. Board the cruise from Lake Lucerne to Alpnachstad, then up to Pilatus by the steepest cogwheel railway in the world (from mid May to mid Nov). During winter you can take the bus from Lucerne to Kriens and further a panoramic gondola from Kriens to Pilatus. Do not forget to stop off and take some time in Frakmuntegg and experience the rope park and the toboggan run, which at 1350 metres is the longest toboggan run in Switzerland. Day 07 ZURICH Take a 50 minute train ride and reach Zurich, the largest of Swiss cities situated on the Northern shore of the lake that bears the same name. Zurich retains much of its 19th century charm even today. Once here, take the time to hop on to an optional Trolley tour which will take you through the city’s financial and shopping area, the most important museums, historical Limmatquai, St. Peter’s church with the largest clock-face in Europe. The tour also takes you to Grossmunster cathedral and the Fraumunster Church with its renowned Chagall painted glass windows. You can also simply stroll along the world famous Bahnhofstrasse or visit nearby Schaffhausen to view the majestic Rhine Falls. Overnight stay in Zurich.
Day 08 END OF TOUR This morning depart to a Swiss border or airport or continue your stay in Switzerland on your own.
